These terms cover buying and using Boss Cleanup, a Mac app made by AIGOCO Tech Platforms FZE LLC (“AIGOCO”, “we”), licence no. 4432170.01, Business Center, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. By downloading, installing or buying Boss Cleanup you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t install or buy the app.
Our reseller, Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles customer service inquiries about payments and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
Mac App Store purchases
If you get Boss Cleanup from the Mac App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies instead of the license and payment sections below, and Apple handles payments and refunds.
Your license
When you buy a license, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the version of Boss Cleanup you bought, and all 1.x updates, on one Mac per license at a time, for personal or business use. A license bought for several Macs covers that many Macs. You may move a license to another Mac you use by deactivating it on the old one.
Without a license, you may use the free version, which includes scanning and a total of 500 MB of cleaning.
What you may not do
- Share, publish, sell or give away license keys, or use one key on more Macs than you paid for.
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or work around the app’s license checks, except where the law allows it regardless of this restriction.
- Rent, lease or resell Boss Cleanup, or offer it as a service to others.
License activation
Activating a license key sends the key, an anonymous identifier for your Mac, and the app and macOS versions to our license server so we can enforce the number of Macs and support refunds. Boss Cleanup re-checks the license about every two weeks and keeps working offline. Details are in the privacy policy.
Updates and upgrades
Your license includes every 1.x update. We may offer a future major version as a paid upgrade; the version you bought keeps working. We may change or remove features in updates, and updates are optional on copies downloaded from our site.
Refunds
You can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. See the refund policy. A refunded or charged-back license is switched off on every Mac.
Your files
Boss Cleanup protects system folders, moves personal files to the Trash instead of deleting them, and shows you what it will remove before it does. You decide what to remove, and you are responsible for reviewing selections and keeping backups of important data, for example with Time Machine.
Warranty
Boss Cleanup is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise the app will be error-free or will meet every need. Some places don’t allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, AIGOCO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from your use of Boss Cleanup. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.
Ending your license
Your license ends automatically if you break these terms, or if the purchase is refunded, charged back or fraudulent. We may then deactivate the key. You can stop using Boss Cleanup at any time by deleting it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for new versions, legal requirements or changes to how we sell the app. We’ll post the new date on this page. The terms that applied when you bought keep applying to that purchase unless you agree otherwise.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are handled by the courts of Sharjah, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
